Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our medical office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing medical clinics, ensuring efficient systems and processes are in place to provide exceptional patient care. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage staff, maintain financial oversight, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Duties

  • Uphold, teach, and enforce FKP Core Values.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the medical office, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality patient care.
  • Cross cover for Medical Assistant when necessary (taking vitals, rooming, chart prep, reviewing labs, and prescription refills).
  • Cross cover for Front Desk when necessary (check-in, check-out, and scheduling appointments).
  • Implement and monitor utilization management strategies to optimize resource use and improve patient outcomes.
  • Assist with the implementation of company policies and procedures, and monitor compliance of policies and procedures.
  • Handle financial management tasks such as budgeting, invoicing, and expense tracking.
  • Supervise human resources functions including hiring, training, and performance evaluations of office staff.
  • Provide medical administrative support to physicians and clinical staff as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards to maintain accreditation.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.

Skills

  • Proficient in using EMR systems, especially Athena.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of financial management principles within a healthcare setting.
  • Experience in utilization management to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Familiarity with human resources practices related to hiring and employee management in a medical environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on quality patient care.
