Job summary

Maniilaq Health Association in Kotzebue, AK, is seeking a Medical Office Cleaner to provide a range of cleaning services within the facility. This 3x3 rotation includes housing support. The role may involve light laundry and restocking, with emphasis on safety and PPE usage.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of cleaning experience. English fluency is required for communication and documentation in a medical environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 6 months experience that demonstrates a working knowledge of cleaning equipment and general cleaning processes.
• The ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, callouts, etc.
• Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sweep, mop, vacuum, sanitize and/or restock hallways, offices, restrooms and other areas as assigned.
• Dust low and high areas and wipe surfaces.
• Remove and transport trash to disposal areas.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and solutions for all tasks.
• Maintain a clean and orderly cart and storage areas.
• Assist in laundry and/or linen removal as needed.
• Replenish guest supplies and amenities as required.
• May scrub, strip, extract, wax and buff floors with proper equipment.
• Change light bulbs and perform light facility maintenance as needed.
• Recognize and apply proper PPE for tasks and adhere to safety policies.
