The Medical Office Assistant will provide support services in patient insurance, billing and account maintenance under direct supervision of the Director of Administrative Operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

Performs data entry entering patient information into the computerized patient care systems, particularly records and automated billing assuring accuracy of data entered for insurance/demographic information only.Assists surgery financial clearance team in monitoring the completion of patient billing & charge ticket for surgical services performed.Establishes, maintains, and updates patient financial files and activity summaries.
