Qualifications

• Must be a Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Office Assistant.
• Certification or licensure required; continuing education encouraged.
• Experience in a medical office is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care and education under physician supervision.
• Obtain and chart vital statistics.
• Prepare, administer and chart medications and injections.
• Assist physicians with minor procedures.
• Keep exam rooms stocked and facilities clean.
• Order procedures and labs as directed by physician.
• Perform EKGs, spirometry, urinalysis, and venipuncture.
• Maintain patient flow and appointments.
