MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) in Lugoff, South Carolina, is seeking a Medical Office Assistant to ensure smooth daily operations in the physician office and clinic scheduling. The role covers patient registration, telephone triage, medical records, billing, and cash handling, with a focus on excellent customer service.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of patient care experience in a health care facility, or CNA, or completion of a Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant course, or EMT/Paramedic certification, or Bachelor’s degree.

Job Description Summary

MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) is an entity within the Medical University of South Carolina that provides healthcare to patients within the rural health network throughout the state of South Carolina. Provide administrative coverage at the front desk of the Clinic including monitoring the clinic appointment line to include scheduling appointments for clients from outside medical, hospital, correction systems. Answer multiline telephones. Take payments from clients for clinical services. Complete client registration, and documentation. Schedule interpreters for clients. Retrieve billing charges.

Additional Job Description Minimum Education and Experience:
