Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of experience or twelve months equivalent experience in lieu of certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient exams and procedures under supervision.
• Take and monitor vital signs and prep patient for exams or procedures.
• Follow universal precautions and maintain sterile technique.
• Provide patient education and instructions per provider directions.
• Relate information between patient and provider; document in medical records.
• Prepare and transport supplies and specimens as needed.
• Assist with minor procedures and setup of treatment rooms.
