Job summary

Saint Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Observation Unit. The role offers Full Time Days (3, 12-hr shifts per week) and the chance to work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.

As an experienced RN, you will perform nursing processes, coordinate care, and support floor nurses with technology-enabled monitoring and documentation to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Less than 1 year of applicable experience in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to support staff.
• Develop and implement care plans to optimize outcomes.
• Demonstrate adherence to policies and procedures.
• Learn and utilize technology for documentation and monitoring.
• Collaborate and anticipate patient needs in a fast-paced unit.
