Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, self-starting, and professional Medical Massage Therapist with a heart for service and a passion for working with seniors. This is more than just a job—it’s an opportunity to provide deeply meaningful care to an underserved population. In addition to working with seniors, therapists may also provide chair massages to caregivers to support their physical and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide safe, effective massage therapy tailored to the unique needs of senior clients and caregivers
Deliver services on-site at senior communities with professionalism and compassion
Arrive on time, maintain a consistent schedule, and communicate clearly with clients and Thrive's coordination team
Adapt techniques for clients with medical conditions such as arthritis, Parkinson’s, dementia, and mobility challenges
Document sessions when needed and maintain appropriate client records
Represent Thrive’s values of respect, empathy, and excellence in every session
Requirements:
Current massage therapy license in the state of Georgia
Experience or strong interest in working with older adults and caregivers
Knowledge of or willingness to learn medical massage techniques
Punctual, patient, and detail-oriented
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to local senior communities

Required:
Active and valid Massage Therapy License in the state of Georgia
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to local senior living communities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
A patient, compassionate demeanor and genuine interest in working with older adults and caregivers
Preferred (but not required):
Training or working knowledge in any of the following modalities:
Myofascial Release
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Medical Massage
Craniosacral Therapy
Oncology Massage
Previous experience working with older adults or in senior care environments
