Job summary

rms Company, part of the Cretex Medical family, seeks a Production Planner to develop feasible master production schedules for finished goods and components, track materials, and ensure capacity alignment. Hours: 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm.

You will collaborate with Customer Service, Engineering and Quality, review forecasts, communicate production flow, and update metrics daily while supporting ISO and medical device requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in scheduling and planning principles.
• Familiarity with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Understanding of production requirements, processes, and materials.
• Basic understanding of inventory principles.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manages production schedules and ERP system updates to meet customer delivery requirements and maximize operational efficiency.
• Balance production and inventory levels with demand to support customer service levels, inventory turn goals, and capacity utilization requirements.
• Analyze sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Engineering and Quality on incoming orders and customer priorities.
• Participate in tier meetings to provide schedule updates to operations, engineering, and quality.
• Request and review customer forecasts on a regular basis.
• Collaborate with the Supervisors, Leads and Production Control to effectively communicate production flow and concerns.
• Update departmental production metrics daily and report discrepancies to Supervisor.
• Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.
