Adams & Martin Group in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Medical Malpractice Paralegal to join the team on a full-time, on-site basis. The role requires at least three years of experience supporting attorneys in medical malpractice defense or plaintiff litigation, with the ability to manage cases from inception through trial.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of medical malpractice paralegal experience.
• Paralegal certificate preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of Georgia civil litigation procedures.
• Experience reviewing and summarizing complex medical records.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all phases of medical malpractice litigation.
• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and discovery responses.
• Review, summarize, and organize medical records.
• Prepare medical chronologies and case summaries.
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial schedules.
• Communicate with clients, medical providers, experts, courts, and opposing counsel.
• Manage deadlines and maintain case calendars.
• Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness files.
• Conduct legal and factual research as needed.
• Maintain both electronic and physical case files.
