The ideal candidate has 3+ years of clinical nursing experience, RN licensure, BSN, and strong knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare regulations, and legal processes.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent; RN license required.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Proficient knowledge of medical malpractice and personal injury law.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare regulations, and legal procedures.
• Excellent research and analytical skills; ability to interpret complex medical information for legal cases.
• Proficient in using medical research databases, EMR systems, and legal case management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex medical concepts to professionals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related legal tools.

Aufgaben

• Conduct medical malpractice case reviews by analyzing records and creating detailed chronologies and reports.
• Participate in review and preparation of legal documents, pleadings, motions, and discovery related to medical issues.
• Coordinate with opposing counsel and expert witnesses to gather information and opinions; review medical literature to support legal arguments.
• Attend meetings, depositions, and trials to provide medical expertise to attorneys.
• Collaborate with the legal team to develop case strategies and assist in trial preparation.
