DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing insurance coverage to determine whether the involvement of each healthcare provider falls within the coverage provided by the Mcare Fund and other insurance mechanisms. Work involves analyzing complex information, directing attorneys and legal expert reviews, and determining injury values through in-depth evaluations. You will have the opportunity to represent the agency at mediation and court proceedings as well as negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys involving millions of dollars worth of damages.
