Job summary

Lexitas Legal Talent Solutions seeks an experienced Medical Malpractice Attorney to handle a heavy and complex caseload from pre-litigation through trial in Atlanta.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in personal injury litigation, exceptional writing and oral advocacy skills, and familiarity with medical negligence matters. On-site position with competitive compensation and benefits, serving a prominent national plaintiff’s firm.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active GA Bar admission.
• 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience, preferably medical negligence.
• Ability to manage high-volume caseloads with strong client service.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of medical malpractice cases from intake through resolution, including trial.
• Drafting and filing litigation documents: pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions.
• Guide clients through the case process and coordinate with expert witnesses.
• Attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances as needed.
• Maintain high standards of advocacy and client service.

Job description

Our client, a prominent national plaintiff’s law firm, seeks an experienced Medical Malpractice Attorney to join its growing team. The Medical Malpractice Attorney will handle and support a heavy and complex caseload of cases from pre-litigation, litigation, trial prep and trial.

The firm offers highly competitive compensation and benefits, ranging from $100k – $300k, depending on experience. This position is on-site in Atlanta.

Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day handling of medical malpractice cases from intake through resolution, including trial
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions, and memorandum
• Guide clients through the case process
• Interaction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits
• Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances and trial

Qualifications:

• JD from fully accredited law school and active Bar admission in GA
• 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience, ideally involving medical negligence/malpractice, catastrophic injury, and/or nursing home matters
• Ability to manage high volume
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
