Job summary

EmergencyMD seeks a contract logistics specialist to support Army medical supply operations in the Bethesda area. Responsibilities include processing Class VIII orders, coordinating urgent requisitions, and maintaining regulatory documentation under government supervision.

Applicants should have 2–4 years of supply experience, a high school diploma, and be capable of obtaining a Tier 1 security clearance. A forklift license and valid driver’s license are required for on-site duties.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Must be able to speak, comprehend, read, and write English.
• Must obtain and maintain Tier 1 Security Investigation for access to Government Automated System.
• 2–4 years of supply experience with knowledge of supply operations and policies.
• Forklift license required to operate government equipment.
• Must hold or obtain a government driver’s license and vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist government staff in facilitating orders into DMLSS for medical supplies and equipment.
• Process urgent and routine orders with government oversight and approvals.
• Coordinate with internal/external customers for Class VIII materiel delivery.
• Maintain required forms and records (DA 1687, DD 1348-1A).
• Transport materials and operate related carts and pallet jacks following safety rules.
