Mission Pet Health is seeking a Medical Lead Veterinarian for New Hope Animal Hospital in Cedar Park, TX. You will mentor associate veterinarians, collaborate with leadership to advance medical standards, and drive growth while maintaining exceptional patient care.

You will lead a team within a supportive network, participate in leadership development, and enjoy comprehensive benefits as part of a national veterinary group.

Qualifications

• DVM degree and valid state license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of practical clinical experience.
• Servant leadership mentality and collaborative mindset.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willingness to understand hospital finances and operations.
• Proficiency with common office software.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop associate veterinarians, partnering with leadership to build a healthy team.
• Set standards for clinical quality and foster a culture of collaboration and growth.
• Lead monthly doctor meetings, oversee externships and mentorship programs, and drive recruitment.
• Manage hospital performance toward an EBITDA goal in partnership with the Practice Manager.
• Represent the hospital as an ambassador in the community.
