Job summary

Lincoln Hospital in Davenport, WA is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our Laboratory Team. The MT/MLT performs tests, analyzes and verifies results of moderate and high complexity testing on blood and bodily fluids, often handling infectious specimens and preparing samples with specialized equipment.

The role is per diem with a 10% higher pay rate in lieu of benefits; schedule may vary to meet department needs.

Qualifications

• MLT-Associates degree with ASCP or equivalent, or MT-Bachelor's in clinical sciences with ASCP or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a medical laboratory setting.
• Preferred Washington State Medical Assistant Phlebotomy Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs tests, analyzes, and verifies results of moderate and high complexity testing on blood and bodily fluids.
• prepares samples for examination using specialized equipment and instrumentation.

## Medical Laboratory Technologist### Category:Lincoln Hospital### Department:Laboratory### Status:Supplemental### Description:**Lincoln Hospital and Clinics is hiring a Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our Laboratory Team** **in Davenport, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate and personalized care that is accessible for all.**The MT/MLT performs tests, analyze, and verify the results of mod, and high complexity testing on blood and bodily fluids. MT/MLT's will often work with infectious specimens within the facility preparing the samples for examination, using specialized equipment and instrumentation, performing numerous complicated tests simultaneously and accurately interpreting the results.Job Requirements:* MLT-Associates degree with (MLT ASCP or equivalent) or MT-Bachelor's in clinical sciences with (MT ASCP or equivalent).* Prior experience working in a medical laboratory career or laboratory setting.Preferred Qualifications:* Washington State Medical Assistant Phlebotomy Certification.* EKG training.* Arterial blood gas training.This is a per diem (supplemental) role.
