Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center in Louisiana seeks a Medical Laboratory Technologist 1-3 to join our Pathology team. This 24-bed acute care facility serves the Florida Parishes in Southeast Louisiana with general surgery and a 24-hour ED.
The candidate will perform a broad spectrum of diagnostic tests, maintain QC, and support staff across Hematology, Chemistry, Bacteriology, Blood Bank, Urinalysis, Parasitology, and Serology, while working varied shifts including weekends and holidays.

We are a 24-bed acute care critical access hospital serving the Florida Parishes region of Southeast Louisiana. We offer a wide range of services, including general surgery and a 24-hour emergency department. At Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center, we are able to bring you a wide range of services close to home, provided by a network of board certified physicians.
The incumbent in this position will perform a wide variety of clinical diagnostic tests with emphasis on recognizing and resolving problems and requiring the application of interpretive judgment at LSU Health-Lallie Kemp Medical Center. This position will be required to work various shifts, weekends and holidays.
Possession of a current Louisiana Clinical Laboratory Scientist-Generalist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist-Specialist license plus one of the following:

Work Location: This Medical Laboratory Technologist 1-3 position is located in the Pathology Department.
Work Hours: Shift will be determined by the department Manager.
Shift Differentials: In addition to Base Pay, Shift Pay and Certification pay is included only when working.
The incumbent shall possess and maintain a valid BLS certification from American Heart Association before appointment.
