This full-time, on-site position plays a critical role in supporting patient care through accurate diagnostic testing and laboratory analysis. As part of the hospital/health care industry, this role ensures that clinical teams receive timely and reliable lab results to guide treatment decisions and improve patient outcomes.

In this role, you will perform a wide range of laboratory procedures, from specimen preparation to test execution, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and safety. Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on blood, urine, and other patient specimens
• Prepare specimens for analysis and ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage
• Operate and calibrate laboratory equipment following established protocols and manufacturer guidelines
• Record and verify test results, reporting abnormal or critical findings to supervising staff promptly
• Perform quality control procedures to maintain the accuracy and reliability of test outcomes
• Adhere to all laboratory safety, infection control, and biohazard disposal standards
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions as needed
• Manage inventory of reagents, supplies, and laboratory consumables
• Assist in specimen collection procedures when required
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines and accreditation standards

Requirements

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related clinical science field
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) through ASCP, AMT, or equivalent credentialing organization preferred
• Prior experience in a clinical laboratory setting is a plus but not required
• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and quality assurance practices
• Proficiency with laboratory information systems (LIS) and basic computer applications
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data recording and reporting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
