Qualifications

Work Schedule:

90% FTE, day/evening shift. 7:30AM – 4:00PM with rotating weekends. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pay:

  • External hires may be eligible for up to a $2,700.00 sign-on bonus.

We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) – Support Services to:

  • Perform moderately complex diagnostic tests and limited high complexity testing.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on select lab equipment or instruments.
  • Perform troubleshooting on select laboratory equipment or instruments as a scientist.
  • Promote a culture of safety for patients through proper identification, reporting, documentation, and prevention of medical errors in a non-punitive environment.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology required, or education and training equivalent to an associate degree including 60 semester hours with either 24 semester hours of medical laboratory technology courses or science courses.

Work Experience

  • 1 year experience as Medical Laboratory Technician or relevant laboratory experience preferred.

Licenses & Certifications

  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or similar agency preferred.
