Various/flexible scheduling, every third weekend, great team to work with!
Responsible for pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases of testing. Follows standard operating procedures and ensures laboratory safety, quality, and regulatory requirements are met. Serves as a laboratory resource to other healthcare personnel and collaborates with other departments across the enterprise. Demonstrates critical and independent judgment in decision-making and problem-solving. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Associates degree in Laboratory Science required.
Possess a national certification for Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT) through an approved HHS agency, e.g., ASCP; or be registry eligible. Registry eligible candidates must complete the Board of Registry examination within 12 months of employment. If working in North Dakota, must be licensed or have a provisional license by the ND Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice. Maintain continuing education credits as required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.
