Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our clinical laboratory team. The ideal candidate will support diagnostic testing by preparing specimens, operating laboratory equipment, and ensuring quality control procedures are followed. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of patient care through accurate and timely lab results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, label, and prepare biological specimens for testing.
• Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment according to established procedures.
• Ensure accuracy and precision in all lab test results; document and report findings promptly.
• Perform quality control and quality assurance procedures to maintain lab integrity.
• Adhere to all safety, compliance, and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with pathologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field.
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP or equivalent).
• Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical laboratory experience.
• Proficiency in lab information systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends if required.
