Job summary

White Rock Medical Center in Dallas, TX is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to perform routine and specialized lab tests across multiple disciplines. The MLT will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot instruments, ensure quality control, and document results for physicians and healthcare teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of clinical lab experience and an Associate’s degree in medical laboratory technology, with MLT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by ASCP, AMT, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and urinalysis.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Collect, prepare, and analyze specimens following established laboratory protocols.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results through strict quality control measures.
• Record and report test results to physicians and healthcare providers promptly.
