Saint Francis Health System is seeking a Clinical Laboratory professional for the Eufaula Campus. The role involves collecting and processing biological specimens, and performing routine analytical tests under supervision while maintaining quality control.

You will collaborate with healthcare staff and support educational activities with students. Requires an Associate degree in a science field; national certification is preferred and previous high-complexity testing experience is a plus.

Performs and reports routine analytical tests under direction of medical technologist, recognizing factors that affect procedures and results, and taking appropriate actions within predetermined limits when corrections are indicated. Perform and monitor quality control within predetermined limits. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment under direction of medical technologist. Supports laboratory goals by demonstrating teamwork, service excellence, adhering to established guidelines and policies. Looks for ways to improve processes. Works with medical laboratory science students during educational laboratory activities.Decision Making: Independent judgment in making minor decisions where alternatives are limited and standard policies/protocols have been established.Working Relationships: Works directly with patients and/or customers.
