Perform and monitor quality control within predetermined limits. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment under direction of medical technologist. Supports laboratory goals by demonstrating teamwork, service excellence, adhering to established guidelines and policies. Looks for ways to improve processes. Performs other duties as assigned. Works with medical laboratory science students during educational laboratory activities.Decision Making: Independent judgment in making minor decisions where alternatives are limited and standard policies/protocols have been established.Working Relationships: Works directly with patients and/or customers.
