Job summary

Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician II to perform and report technical procedures on patient specimens for diagnosis and treatment. Under supervision of a licensed Medical Technologist, you will ensure quality control and proper reporting while maintaining productive workflows.

The position requires an Associate degree in Medical Technology, 3–5 years of experience, and ASCP certification. Preference for AMT/AAB credentials and Tennessee Board eligibility.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Medical Technology or closely related field.
• 3–5 years of Medical Laboratory Technician experience.
• ASCP certification required; AMT/AAB certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate testing of patient specimens per lab protocols.
• Report results in a timely manner following established procedures.
• Adhere to quality control standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage resources, supplies, instruments, and workflow efficiently.
