Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform routine and specialized diagnostic tests, prepare specimens, and operate automated lab instrumentation with strict quality control.

Education required is an Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, plus at least one year of clinical experience and ASCP BOC certification or equivalent. Internal candidates may pursue ICCE ladder; external candidates must complete requirements within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.
• Experience: At least one year of clinical laboratory experience.
• Certification: Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician by ASCP Board of Certification (BOC) or equivalent.
• Career Ladder: Internal candidates must meet Path and Lab ICCE Career Ladder requirements; external candidates must complete within 90 days.
