Qualifikationen

• Requires bachelor's degree in a related science; certification not required
• Associate degree in an approved Medical Laboratory Technician program with certification within 12 months of employment
• Associate degree holders must obtain certification (NCA, AMT, ASCP, HEW or CLA) within 12 months of employment
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures
• Working knowledge of laboratory testing equipment and routine maintenance
• Ability to maintain quality control and other records
• Working knowledge of computers and laboratory safety regulations

• Assist with laboratory testing on patient specimens.
• Provide information for diagnosis and treatment under direction.
• Maintain records of performance and generate acceptable test results.
• Operate hematology/oncology analyzers (Sysmex) and chemistry analyzers (Cobas).
