Position

Medical Lab Technician

Location: Adena Chillicothe, Laboratory. Salary: $23.22–$31.92 per hour, subject to upward adjustment based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate laboratory procedures and results under established quality assurance protocols.
• Assist in collection of laboratory specimens.
• Perform instrument maintenance and record keeping.
• Serve as a resource person for laboratory service issues.

Required Education

Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.

Preferred Education

Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent laboratory degree.

Required Experience

Clinical experience in a clinical laboratory as part of an associate's degree.

Certification Requirements

• Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent certification must be in place or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Must meet CLIA Regulations 42CFR493.1489.
