Shift: Varies

Job Schedule: PRN

Weekly Hours: Varies

Salary Range: $23.50 - $33

Job Summary

Responsible for pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases of testing. Follows standard operating procedures and ensures laboratory safety, quality, and regulatory requirements are met. Serves as a laboratory resource to other healthcare personnel and collaborates across departments. Demonstrates critical and independent judgment in decision-making and problem-solving. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Laboratory Science required.
  • Possess a national certification for Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT) through an approved HHS agency, e.g., ASCP; or be registry eligible. Registry eligible candidates must complete the Board of Registry exam within 12 months of employment.
  • If working in North Dakota, must be licensed or have a provisional license by the ND Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice.
  • Maintain continuing education credits as required for licensure and certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.
