Job summary

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) on a full-time day shift to perform laboratory tests, interpret results, and document findings to support patient care.

You will operate and maintain instruments, follow QA/QC protocols, and collaborate with clinicians to ensure timely, accurate reports. Competitive compensation and sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in medical laboratory technology or a related field.
• Certification as MT/MLT or eligibility for ASCP/AMT is required or preferred.
• Licensure as applicable in Virginia and/or eligibility for it.

Position Summary

As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, you will perform laboratory tests; interpret test results; document and report test results; maintain equipment, instruments, and tools.
