Job summary

Central Peninsula Hospital is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to contribute to diagnosis, treatment, and care by performing and reporting laboratory testing on blood, body fluids, and tissue. The role requires operating and maintaining lab equipment to produce timely, accurate results in accordance with regulatory standards.

There is a critical position bonus and relocation assistance available, with a one- or two-year commitment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree/certificate in Medical Technology or related field.
• National Registry as Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT).
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report laboratory tests on blood, body fluids and tissue.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Ensure timely and accurate test results.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Medical Laboratory Technician contributes to the diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients by accurately performing and reporting laboratory testing procedures on blood, body fluids and tissue. This individual is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment and instrumentation throughout the laboratory in accordance with regulatory standards and for producing timely and accurate test results.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate's of Medical Technology or related field
• National Registry as Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
• 2 years of Clinical Laboratory experience

Pay Range: $30.51- $37.31(rate of pay is based on years of experience)
