Overview

Responsibilities
Accurately analyzes and reports all tests ordered by the Medical Staff in a timely manner and according to laboratory procedures and regulatory guidelines to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in a biological or chemical science as defined by CLIA OR High school diploma/GED and completed an official military medical laboratory course and held the military enlisted occupational specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist (Lab Technician).

Tennessee: MLT-L:TN or MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification (per requirement sheet)
GA: MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification (per requirement sheet)
Other state license not required.
MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred.
Must be appropriately trained in clinical laboratory science as judged by the Director of the Clinical Laboratory.
