American Oncology Network is seeking a lab professional to perform routine and automated blood testing, quality control, phlebotomy, and specimen preparation in a central lab. You will operate equipment, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and keep detailed documentation for all tests and procedures.
The role requires a biomedical laboratory background with at least four years in healthcare, state licensure, and preferred national certification; BLS is also preferred.
Location: Hematology Oncology of Indiana
Pay Range: $19.66 - $34.59
Responsible for laboratory testing, quality control, phlebotomy, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting. Perform manual and automated routine blood tests. Prepare specimens for microscope examination. Operate laboratory equipment including centrifuges, dry bath incubators, and blood bank refrigerators.
Education: A.A. or A.S. degree
License and Certification: Appropriate state license required. National lab certification preferred. BLS preferred.
Experience: Minimum of four years experience in the healthcare field, preferably in a clinical setting is required.
