Job summary

Texas Health Southwest is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team on a PRN, third‑shift schedule in Fort Worth, TX. You will contribute to specimen integrity, maintain laboratory operations, perform test procedures, and uphold professional accountability while following safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in MT or an equivalent science and has MT(ASCP) or MLS certifications with at least six months of related experience; hospital experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in MT or equivalent science required.
• Experience in high‑complexity microbiology lab preferred.
• 2 years hospital experience or medical laboratory preferred.
• MLS certification (ASCP/AMT/HEW/HHS or NCA) 6 months required.
• MT(ASCP) – Medical Technologist 6 months required.
• MT – Medical Technologist 6 months required.

Here's What You Need

• Bachelor’s Degree in MT program or equivalent Science required
• Previous experience in high-complexity Microbiology lab highly preferred
• 2 years Hospital Experience or Medical Laboratory preferred
• MLS - Medical Lab Scientist Certified by ASCP, AMT, HEW, HHS or NCA 6 Months required
