Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform and report diverse specimen analyses with accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities include specimen handling, accessioning, analysis, instrument QC, troubleshooting, documenting results, and supporting staff training.

This role requires an Associate degree in MLT or equivalent, ASCP/NAACLS certification, proficiency with lab procedures and computer systems, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent.
• ASCP/NAACLS certification or eligibility.
• Proficiency in laboratory procedures, computer applications, and specimen management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Handling, accessioning, and analysis of specimens according to procedures.
• Maintaining instrument accuracy through calibration, QC, and troubleshooting.
• Documenting results and communicating findings clearly.
• Assist in training staff and participate in ongoing education.
