Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in biological, chemical, physical, or clinical laboratory science.
• Successful completion of an accredited Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science program or equivalent experience.
• Certification by ASCP or NAACLS preferred.
• Ability to perform initial and ongoing competency assessments.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining productivity and managing multiple work processes efficiently.
• Proper specimen handling, identification, accessioning, and troubleshooting.
• Performing instrument maintenance, quality control, and reagent replenishment.
• Following reporting procedures and navigating computer applications.
• Training new employees and participating in ongoing education.
• Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and clinical environment standards.
