HSHS St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT) to join the laboratory team on a part-time 20-hour night shift.

The role involves performing a variety of tests on patient samples to detect health conditions, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and quality control. Successful candidates will hold an associate degree with NAACLS- accredited training or equivalent, and must obtain certification within 180 days of hire.

Pay Range:$24.31 - $36.47A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.HSHS St. Vincent Hospital is seeking a Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT) to join our lab team! This position is responsible for conducting a variety of tests on patient samples (blood, various body fluids, cells, and tissue, etc.) to detect the presence or absence of health conditions.Position Specifics:• Department: Lab• Core Function: Laboratory• Schedule: Part time, 20 hours per week Night shift• Facility: St. Vincent Hospital• Location: Green Bay, WIEducation QualificationsAssociate's degree required and successful completion of a National Accreditation Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) accredited medical laboratory technician program, ORAssociate’s degree and at least 60 academic credit hours including 6 hours chemistry and 6 hours biology and successful completion of a 50 week US military medical laboratory training course, OR Associates degree and at least 60 academic credit hours including 6 hours chemistry and 6 hours biology and 3 years full time lab experience in an accredited laboratory within the last 10 years.Physician Enterprise: Associates degree in Laboratory Sciences (including chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory) is required.Experience QualificationsExperience in an accredited lab is preferred.Certifications, Licenses and RegistrationsMedical Technician or Medical Laboratory Technician or eligibility for certification by a nationally recognized certifying agency such as: - American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) - National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel (NCA) - American Medical Technologies (AMT) - Department of Health, Education and Welfare (HEW) - or other laboratory certifying agency is required. Certification must be received within 180 days of hire. Colleagues hired prior to January 1, 2017 are exempt from this requirement.
