The Role You’ll Contribute

Performs complex diagnostic and analytic testing of laboratory specimens and interprets data.

The Value You’ll Bring to the Team

• Reads, examines, and interprets complex test results
• Serves as a resource for complex tests and procedures
• Manages instrument maintenance and troubleshooting
• Leads quality control and assurance testing
• Assists with data collection and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Required expertise and experiences:

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related sciences, with appropriate state licensure or national certification if required
• Two years of technical experience
• Certification from one of the following: ASCP Medical Laboratory Scientist, ASCP Medical Technologist, AMT Medical Technologist, or AABB Medical Technologist
• If required, licensure in specialty areas such as microbiology, serology/immunology, chemistry, hematology, immunohematology, histocompatibility, blood banking, or molecular pathology
