Medical Laboratory Scientist I/Medical Laboratory Technician I - Auto Lab at HUP, 2nd Shift

The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) is seeking a Medical Lab Scientist/Technician (with a $7,500 Sign-on Bonus) to join the Auto Lab team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform waived, moderate, and high-complexity tests and procedures under supervision.
  • Analyze clinical specimens accurately to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
  • May perform phlebotomy on patients of all ages.
Qualifications
  • American Society for Clinical Pathology certification (Required)
  • Bachelor's degree in Arts or Science, with specialization in MLS or related biological/chemical sciences, or equivalent experience.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining quality control, calibrating equipment, participating in proficiency testing, ensuring compliance with regulations, and training new staff.
