Job summary

Providence Health and Services is seeking a Medical Technologist to join Covenant Hobbs Hospital in Hobbs, NM. This full-time night and variable shift position requires professional knowledge and judgment to perform technical, physical, clerical and quality assurance tasks in the clinical laboratory.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or CLIA-equivalent, with a preference for 1 year of hospital lab experience.

• 1 year work experience in a clinical laboratory, preferably in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical, physical, clerical and quality assurance functions in the department.
• Work under the direction of the Section Supervisor to ensure accurate lab results and adherence to QA procedures.
