The Medical Laboratory Scientist shall provide timely and courteous service to patients, physicians, and hospital staff by performing laboratory analyses accurately and efficiently. This individual shall detect unusual conditions and assume responsibility for problem solving. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a chemical, biological, or clinical/medical laboratory science required. Clinical laboratory training culminating in national certification as defined by American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) Board of Registry.
Active ASCP Medical Technologist (MT), ASCP Medical Lab Scientist (MLS), ASCP Microbiology, or equivalent certification required
