Qualifications

• Minimum one year in hospital laboratory experience preferred.
• Medical Technologist preferred; MLT candidates considered.

Responsibilities

• Follows established procedures 95% of the time and performs blood bank procedures accurately.
• Performs quality control and instrument checks; maintains related records.
• Performs preventive maintenance procedures 95% of the time.
• Engages in professional development through educational programs and workshops; attends at least one external seminar per year.
• Initiates resolution of instrument/QC problems without supervisor 95% of the time.
