Key Responsibilities Include

• Maintaining productivity and managing multiple work processes efficiently
• Properly handling specimens, confirming identification, and using accessioning procedures
• Recognizing discrepancies, resolving issues, and documenting instrument maintenance and troubleshooting
• Replenishing supplies, following reporting protocols, and navigating computer applications
• Assisting in training new employees and participating in ongoing education
• Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures

Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor's degree in biological, chemical, physical, or clinical laboratory science, or equivalent experience
• Successful completion of an accredited Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science program or relevant certification
• Ability to perform analyses accurately, troubleshoot equipment, and work effectively in a clinical environment
• Successful completion of competency exams
