Job Opportunity: Medical Laboratory Scientist

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Laboratory Scientist to support our client's medical facility located in Indianapolis, IN 46214.

This is a contract position with the possibility of extension and an excellent opportunity to work with a top-tier healthcare organization.

Details:

• Location: Indianapolis, IN 46214
• Job Type: 12+ Months - W2 contract, with possible extension
• Schedule: 1st shift, Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm EST, rotating Tues - Sat, with one weekend day and a 3-day weekend
• Pay Range: $30-$36/hr (based on education, experience, and credentials)

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and complex technical procedures as per SOPs, including specimen testing, instrument operation, troubleshooting, and reagent preparation.
• Determine specimen acceptability, monitor instrumentation, and ensure quality control.
• Report test results accurately and timely to support patient care.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow safety protocols.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.
• 0-2 years of clinical laboratory testing experience.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Proficiency with computers; familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus.
• Attention to detail, good communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to pass a color vision test.
• Flexibility to work overtime or different shifts as needed.

Skills Required:

• At least 1 year of CLIA lab experience.
• Support for IVDR remediation.

Education:

MLT, MT, or BSc with 12+ hours each in Biology and Chemistry.
