Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Medical City Fort Worth seeks a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform and interpret laboratory tests across one or more sections, ensuring accuracy and quality of patient results. You will help maintain equipment and participate in staff training as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• MLS, certified lab technologist, or related certification required.
• At least one year hospital experience preferred.

• Maintain records of performance, patient results and quality control.
• Maintain equipment, record preventive and remedial maintenance of equipment.

What You Will Do In This Role

• You will assist with laboratory training programs as required.

What qualifications you will need

• Bachelor’s Degree is required

• Medical Laboratory Scientist, or Certified Medical Lab, or Certified Lab Technologist, or Clinical Laboratory Scientist, or Medical Lab Scientist, or American Medical Technologist is required

• At least one year experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
