Hillsborough College is seeking adjunct instructors to teach in the Medical Laboratory Science Advanced Technical Certificate (ATC) 4+1 program. Instructors deliver didactic and student laboratory education aligned with MLS expertise, focusing on areas like hematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and more.

Appointments are temporary, part-time, and semester-based. Compensation is $80 per instructional point, with pay calculated per load points and class schedules determined by

Qualifications

• Earned bachelor's degree or higher in MLS or related field.
• Current MLS/MT certification relevant to instructional area.
• Minimum of three years clinical lab experience or clinical lab education experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the instructional content area.

Responsabilités

• Provide didactic and/or laboratory instruction in Medical Laboratory Science courses.
• Supervise and instruct students in MLS teaching labs.
• Prepare lectures, labs, assessments, and case studies.
• Evaluate student achievement and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain documentation and participate in curriculum review and accreditation activities.
