Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College is seeking Adjunct Faculty for our Medical Laboratory Program for Day Classes for fall 2026. Classes will be on Campus or in a Clinical Setting, with assignments aligned to common syllabi.

Adjunct Faculty are hired each semester on an as-needed basis and will deliver instruction and assessment while maintaining student records. Credentialing requires an associate or higher degree in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science, ASCP CM or MLS/MT, or a registered

Qualifications

• Possesses an associate or higher degree in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science.
• ASCP cm or Medical Laboratory Scientist, registered Medical Technologist (MT), or registered Medical Laboratory Technician.
• Two years of directly related work experience.
• Strong knowledge of current technologies in the instructional area.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver on-campus or clinical instruction per course objectives.
• Develop and maintain outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials.
• Maintain accurate student records and grades.
• Engage with students and colleagues professionally and in compliance with policies.
