Job summary

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. in Tyler, Texas seeks a qualified medical laboratory professional to perform moderate and high complexity testing and deliver accurate results.

You will analyze data, report findings, and maintain safety and quality controls in a busy lab. The role requires an associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology, ASCP certification, and 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.
• 1 year of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing.
• Certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment (analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, pipettes, alarms).

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and high complexity testing.
• Analyze, review, and report testing results.
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement solutions.
• Work in a fast-paced laboratory with biological and chemical hazards.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
