Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a PRN Medical Laboratory professional to support clinical testing at Summerville. You will prep specimens, perform routine tests, and ensure quality control while maintaining instrument readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or related field.

• Experience not required; formal training as Medical Laboratory Technician may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specimens for testing and perform routine laboratory tests.
• Conduct quality control and maintenance procedures on instruments.
• recognize and troubleshoot computer data problems affecting results
• Communicate technical information to clinicians and patients as needed
• Assist with training laboratory personnel in routine procedures
• Participate in continuing education and stay updated on best practices
• Recognize normal and abnormal values in test results
