Qualifications

• B.S.M.T, ASCP or AMT certification required.
• Associates degree or higher in science or related field required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality control procedures to validate test results.
• Maintains patient care across the life span and notes documentation.
• Distributes physician reports via phone and electronic channels.
• Responds to technical questions from units and physicians.
• Performs preventative maintenance and records equipment activity.
• Maintains instrument logs and stock inventories.
• Performs venipunctures for all ages and collects specimens.
• Supports lab quality program and educates students and staff.
